Benefits for In-service

In-service Pioneras' participation in this project is geared toward the improvement of their Spanish proficiency and content pedagogy in Spanish. To support them, Project PIONERAS:

• Covers tuition and fees for 3 graduate courses (est. $4,500).
• Offers 10 teachers the possibility of completing an M.Ed. or a Ph.D. degree (additional est. $13,500).
  
• Provides a one-time stipend for books, supplies, materials, TExES fees ($1,000).
  
• Provides a one-time stipend for teaching materials at the completion of the program ($1,000).
