Interventions to improve patient centered outcomes among older adults in care
A cluster randomized controlled trial to examine effectiveness of interventions to improve patient centered outcomes among older adults after transition to long-term care facilities
The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of an occupation-based cultural heritage intervention (OBCHI) compared to a companion robot (PARO) that will facilitate adaptation to relocation to long-term care facilities by improving physical, psychological, and social health and, ultimately, quality of life.
