Exploring Perspectives of Service Providers Regarding Occupational Injustices Experienced by Children During the COVID 19 Pandemic: A Participatory and Critical Exploration
The purpose of this study is to explore perspectives of service providers as means to understand COVID 19 pandemic-related situations of occupational injustices (i.e., injustices related to everyday activities) experienced by children from marginalized communities (i.e., those experiencing discrimination due to unequal social, political or economic conditions) from across different global locations. The intent is to offer opportunities for critical reflection among service providers to explore the contextually-situated nature of occupational participation and injustices experienced by children during the COVID 19 pandemic. Through collaborative dialogue among service providers on the everyday experiences of children, this study serves to identify specific research priorities that will guide and inform future participatory action research projects.
