Occupational participation of teens living with HIV/AIDS in Botswana
Working towards exploring and addressing the occupational participation of teens living with HIV/AIDS in Botswana through creative, participatory action research Brief description of the research project.
This youth participatory action research (YPAR) sought to involve teens living with HIV as co-researchers, through the use of creative methodologies, in identifying, prioritizing, and explicating issues related to their occupational participation that they deem as relevant. We anticipate that this YPAR has the potential to transform the lives of YLWH by informing the development of culturally relevant occupational therapy interventions in Botswana.
