Nursing Honors Curriculum
TWU’s innovative nursing honors curriculum provides nursing honors students an accelerated start to the upper division nursing program.
Students are paired with nursing honors faculty their sophomore year and complete a rigorous honors scholarly project at the end of their junior year through the four-course sequence. Students transition into leadership and mentoring roles during senior year.
Themes of the nursing honors curriculum:
- Creating a life defined not by success, but by significance
- Leave the campsite better
These themes require students to embrace and model key leadership principles and skills as they foster a spirit of inquiry, vision, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
