Nineteen members of the Texas Woman's University Theatre Division will challenge themselves when they take the stage at Redbud Theatre this week, Feb. 21-25, to perform what is widely considered to be the world's greatest, most famous and most demanding play by the greatest writer of all time: William Shakespeare's Hamlet.
Heather Snow to serve as new AVP/Dean of Students

Texas Woman’s University has named Heather Snow, a longtime student affairs leader, as the university’s new assistant vice president for Student Life and dean of students. She begins her role March 6.

Wandaliz Turner has been named to the Texas Lyceum Board of Directors, becoming only the second representative from Denton to serve on the organization’s board since its founding in 1980.
First-Year Composition triumphs over adversity

In fall 2019, Jackie Hoermann-Elliott was completing her first year at Texas Woman's University when her mentor died, the university shut down and her program struggled. Four years later, Hoermann-Elliott has led First-Year Composition to the highest honor her community can bestow.
