Professional landscape group names TWU’s grounds among nation’s best

Oct. 27, 2022 — DENTON — The Professional Grounds Management Society® has recognized the Denton and Dallas campuses of Texas Woman’s University as being among the nation’s higher education institutions with the best grounds.

The organization honored the winners during the society’s 2022 Green Star Awards celebration on Oct. 20 in Louisville, Kentucky.

In all, 29 colleges and universities were recognized with a Grand Award (the highest honor), an Honor Award or the Merit Award. Texas Woman’s Denton and Dallas campuses received the Honor Award, which recognizes exceptional grounds maintenance.
