Visual Arts ‘humanizes the digital’ with upcoming exhibitions and symposium

The Texas Woman’s University Department of Visual Arts will host two digital art exhibitions in conjunction with the 2018 North Texas Digital Fabrication Symposium in April. Artists, researchers, makers and students will gather at TWU’s Denton campus to discuss digital fabrication in practice, theory and curation, while also showcasing artworks that consider the ways in which new technologies are reconnecting society with humanity.
TWU to host summer camps for kids

Looking for something fun for your children to do this summer? Texas Woman’s University is hosting several camps during its 2018 summer semesters on the university’s Denton campus. Camps range from fashion and nutrition, to science and sports, and cater to ages preschool through college.
TWU Jamison Lecture to feature political perspectives from female journalists

Two American political reporters will speak at Texas Woman’s University’s third annual Jamison Lecture, beginning at 7 p.m., March 28 on the university’s Denton campus. The lecture, titled "Covering the Trump Presidency: Perspectives from Women Journalists", will be held in the Multipurpose Classroom Laboratory Building auditorium on North Bell Avenue. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Rangers and Astros to host TWU college nights

Join Texas Woman’s University for nights at the ballpark in both Arlington and Houston. TWU Night with the Astros will take place Tuesday, April 3 at 7:10 p.m. at Minute Maid Park in Houston. TWU Night with the Rangers is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24 at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington. All students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public are welcome to purchase tickets for these events.
