Music Major for a Day

The Texas Woman’s University Division of Music is excited to welcome local high school juniors and seniors to our campus for the 2024 Music Major for a Day event.
Students will enjoy a full day on the beautiful TWU Denton campus and will experience a day in the life of a TWU Music major. This event is open to all prospective students considering a degree in music education, music therapy, music performance, and liberal arts – music. Parents are encouraged to attend. Registration is free of charge.
- Visit with our world-class faculty
- Learn about our degree programs, admission, and scholarship opportunities
- Sit in on music courses with actual TWU Music students
- Tour TWU Music facilities and the TWU Denton campus
- Experience rehearsals and performances with our large ensembles
The final deadline to register is October 22, 2024.
