Parliament Village

We have partnered with University and Student Services (USS) to provide a full-service move-in experience for all students living with us in Parliament Village. Students who move into the residential community on their scheduled day will arrive at Parliament Village at their designated time. Once at the residence hall, University and Student Services will unload your vehicle and move all of your items into your room for you. After they have unloaded your vehicle(s), you will be directed to parking. After you park, you may go back to your residence hall where you will get your key and start unpacking. Please note: It may take several hours for your belongings to get to your room.

  • Review your assigned route to campus.
  • Approaching from the south, arrive to the intersection of Grove Street and Frame Street during your time slot. DO NOT BE EARLY.
  • Volunteers will ask for the student’s building and last name to verify it is their move-in time.
  • Volunteers will provide a sheet of labels for you to hand-off to USS movers.
  • Volunteers will provide a dashboard tag and pen to each car. Please fill-out the dashboard tag and leave it on your dashboard during move-in. Please return the pen to the next volunteer you see.
  • Proceed along the move-in route for your building.
  • Please stay in your vehicle while USS movers unload your vehicle.
  • After your vehicle is unloaded, please leave the unloading area and find a parking spot. Plan for it to be far from the buildings.
  • If the Jones Hall lot is full, please access the northeast ring road parking area via N Ruddell Street.
  • Residents will enter the Multipurpose Room at Mary’s Hall through the door closest to the courtyard (west side) to receive their key and other materials and will then exit through the door closest to the construction zone.
  • It may take a while for your belongings to get to your room.
