Profile

Tushar R. Shah, PhD joined Texas Woman's as an assistant professor of human resources management. He has over six years experience at the university level teaching a range of subjects that include OB, HR, organizational development & change, core management, business communication and business strategy. Prior to academics, Shah was an HR professional and brings with him almost two decades of experience working through different hierarchical levels, from operational management to middle management to strategic management. He has worked across different industries like printing & packaging, electronic equipment & consumer durables, industrial automation, shipping & logistics, industrial security solutions and home furnishings. Shah utilizes his wisdom gained from this ambidextrous breadth and depth of experience to bring in live examples and illustrations in his classroom, so that his students find his teachings more relevant to the real world. 

Shah’s research spans the confluence of HR, strategy and technology.
