Profile

Dan Chen is an assistant professor of management in the College of Business at Texas Woman’s University. Dan Chen completed her PhD in business administration with a concentration in human resource management and organizational behavior. As a member of the Academy of Management, a board member of the Southwest Academy of Management, and a committee member of the Midwest Academy of Management’s first mentorship program, Chen studies how the new technology tools, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) has changed or shifted the decision-making in human resource management field, especially in hiring and selection area. She also studies workplace incivility behavior and discrimination issues against working moms in organizations.

Dr. Chen teaches graduate and undergraduate management courses, such as human resource development and training, human resource selection and testing, staffing and performance management and fundamentals of human resource management.
