Suzann Woodard, Director of Government Relations, Texas Woman’s University
Suzann Woodard is Director of Government Relations for Texas Woman’s University, where she works with university leadership to advance legislative priorities and strengthen relationships with elected officials and government agencies.
A seasoned government affairs professional with more than 25 years of experience, Woodard has served in leadership roles spanning the Texas Legislature, statewide associations, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Her career includes service on the staff of State Senator John T. Montford, government relations leadership with the Texas Pharmacy Association and Texas Hospital Association, District Director and Campaign Manager for State Representative Lynn Stucky, Chief Advancement Officer for the Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas, and Associate Director of the Center for Women in Government at the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership.
Woodard earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University. An Austin native, she and her husband, Glenn, live in Argyle and are the proud parents of two sons.
