International Efforts Council

The International Efforts Council is a system-wide committee dedicated to increasing international awareness and engagement throughout the Texas Woman’s University community. TWU encourages students, faculty and staff to engage in a wide range of international efforts. Through research, grants, partnerships, conference presentations, recognitions and more, the TWU community is contributing to the goal of cultivating global citizens and expanding global perspectives.

The members will identify and enhance international efforts at TWU by:

  • providing a forum to share information and ideas
  • facilitating conversations within their areas about international opportunities
  • developing and implementing international strategies
  • advancing international initiatives designed to retain students and enhance their experiences
