Post-Tenure
A post tenure review is a periodic evaluation of tenured faculty performance. It is a peer evaluation process that can assess a faculty member’s accomplishments and future directions in areas such as teaching, scholarship, and service. Post tenure review can help ensure that faculty maintain high standards of quality and productivity (in teaching, scholarship, and service) and that they meet their responsibilities and expectations. They can also help identify underachieving faculty and provide opportunities for improvement.
