Non-Tenure
The non-tenure track consists primarily of two major faculty groups:
- Those who teach part time
- Those who teach full time but are not on tenure-track lines
This includes faculty hired as lecturers, instructors, or clinicians.
Rankings
The clinical designation refers to faculty primarily involved in clinical education, practice, and student supervision. They are expected to engage in scholarship and service appropriate to their rank. While an independent research program is not currently required, scholarship should enhance course content, pedagogy, professional issues, or program development, including evidence-based practice.
