Environmental Science

The interdisciplinary nature of our Environmental Science program equips you with critical skills in laboratory work, field research, technology use, communication, leadership and sustainability practices.
You’ll build a solid foundation across various STEM fields—biology, chemistry, physical sciences, mathematics and computer science—preparing you for diverse career paths. Upon graduation, you will be equipped to:

Major in Environmental Science (BS) – Plan of Study
Minor in Environmental Science - The Minor in Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary minor. It will expose students from diverse majors to multiple scientific disciplines, including technology and communication, to enable them to incorporate an environmental perspective into their major disciplines. The minor requires 21-24 semester credit hours. Plan of Study
Career outlook
Career paths for environmental science graduates include roles such as environmental consultant, conservation scientist, sustainability specialist, environmental educator, wildlife biologist, water resource manager, environmental health and safety officer, and policy analyst.
