Join us for a pop-up passport acceptance facility on the TWU Denton campus, brought to you by TWU Education Abroad in partnership with UNT Study Abroad. Open to students, staff, faculty, and community.

Please follow the guidelines outlined below for new applications versus renewals.

On-site services include:

  • New application processing
  • Passport photos ($12)
  • Photos and paper applications for renewals

New passport applications

Applicants for a first time adult or children's passport must apply in a passport facility.

Essentials to bring:

For UNT Study Abroad passport execution and photo fees
Photo Fee - $12
Passport Execution Fee - $35

For Department of State Fees to be mailed with paper application
Nearby locations for money orders: Western Union at Walgreens or MoneyGram at CVS

See full list of required documents, payment information, and notes about passports for minors on the UNT Passport Office website.

Passport renewal applications

Adult passport renewals must be completed by mail and UNT passport agents are NOT permitted by the Department of State to review forms or supporting documents. They are able to assist with passport photos for renewal applications and will have DS-82 forms available for your convenience. Some may be eligible to renew online, and we can help with any photo updates needed for that application.

Preparing for your passport photo

The UNT Passport Office provides U.S. immigration, passport, and visa photos. $12 photo fee includes 2 photos.

If you have any questions regarding Pioneer Passport Day, please contact Director of Education Abroad, Taylor Morgan at tmorgan3@twu.edu.
