Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards and more

Dear Texas Woman’s Colleagues,

April is traditionally our big month of celebrations, and we have much to celebrate this year. Today, we welcomed our TWU Basketball team home. They have given us incredible visibility, advancing further than any team in program history to the national championship game, the final two teams out of 304 in NCAA Division II basketball. If that is not enough, they also achieved TWU Athletics’ highest team GPA for Fall 2023 with an average of 3.85—8 team members had a perfect 4.0 GPA.

This week is also homecoming with a packed week of events. Next week, we have the Jamison lecture and the TWU Faculty and Staff Excellence Awards on Thursday. I hope you will come in person to celebrate your colleagues’ accomplishments.
