The Second Annual International Startup League Bootcamp Kicks Off in Texas

International Startup League, USA and Pakistan. Empowering Innovation Through Entrepreneurship

Denton, TX – The International Startup League’s second annual bootcamp began on October 1st, 2023, at Texas Woman’s University’s with a focus on "Unlocking Entrepreneurial Potential." Co-organized by Tracy Irby, Director of TWU’s Center for Women Entrepreneurs, and Talha Bin Shuja, Business Consultant at High Hope International, the event garnered significant attention. It brought 25 in-person attendees and over 250 virtual students from diverse majors, including computer science, business, nutrition, environmental studies, and individuals transitioning from traditional 9-to-5 jobs into entrepreneurship. High school students, eager to explore the world of entrepreneurship, were also present.

The bootcamp featured a lineup of distinguished keynote speakers, including Tracy Irby and Talha Bin Shuja, alongside local experts Dan Sturdivant, Director of Global Marketing & Communications at Eliviant; Yvette Grove, Director of Growth at Paragon Realtors and Founder of Deliciously Different World; and Ahmad A Siddiqui, Founder of Apparel in Bags. The experts shared their valuable insights on various startup-related topics. The first day concluded with a panel discussion addressing the myths and concerns of budding entrepreneurs.

Other sessions of the International Startup League will cover the following topics: "The Convergence of Digital Transformation and Cybersecurity" and "Empowering Entrepreneurs Globally." These events will take place virtually and are moderated by Umair Bin Shuja, an experienced Senior Manager at PwC, and Syed Rizwan Ali, Head of the Business Incubation Center at Bahria University.
