Moore, Mbango to speak at Kenya conference
May 9, 2022 — DENTON — Brenda Moore, PhD, RN-BC, CNE, and Catherine Mbango, PhD, MBA, RN, NE-BC, OCN, are set to speak at the third Building Capacity for Nursing and Midwifery Leadership in Africa conference in Kenya.
Moore and Mbango are part of an extensive lineup of speakers at the conference hosted by St. Paul’s University and the Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF), set to take place June 9-10, 2022 on the St. Paul’s campus in Limuru, Kenya.
The conference’s theme is “Leading, Teaching, and Learning During the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Future of Nursing Education,” and the conference is accepting abstracts, poster presentations and exhibitions.
Moore is conducting a workshop simulation in low resource settings while Mbango is part of a trio facilitating a training workshop for nurse educators and instructors.
