Biology's Gonzalez earns scholarship to study abroad
July 17, 2024 - DENTON - TWU biology student Zoë Gonzalez has been accepted into the First Scholar program allowing first-generation students to study abroad.
The program will launch this fall at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England.
Gonzalez, who is the first in her immediate family to earn a bachelor’s degree and to study abroad, will receive a full-tuition scholarship. She also received the TWU Education Abroad Scholarship and the Dr. Bob Neely Harlaxton Scholarship. Gonzalez is a member of the Honors Scholar program and Helping Hands Service Ambassadors.
Harlaxton College is the British campus of the University of Evansville.
