Profile
Jason Jordan, CPA, joined Texas Woman’s University in 2023 as an assistant professor of accounting. He earned his PhD in Business - Accounting from The University of North Texas, and his BS and Master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University. Prior to pursuing his academic career, Jordan worked as an auditor at Deloitte in Costa Mesa, California and as a controller for Challenger Schools in Sandy, Utah.
As an educator, Jordan is committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment, where students gain experience applying what they learn to real-world problems. He specializes in behavioral research, exploring the topics of ethics, audit judgment and decision making, whistleblowing and fraud.
