The East | West Galleries at Texas Woman’s University, support the educational goals of the Division of Visual Arts interdisciplinary art and design programs. Exhibitions and gallery programming inspire students and the greater community, through our commitment to presenting regional artists reflective of the diverse community we serve.
The TWU Visual Arts Department is creating a database for possible future exhibitions.
Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the TWU Gallery Committee.
REVIEW CRITERIA
Division of Visual Arts at TWU welcomes proposals from across all artistic disciplines within the Visual Arts. Applicants have the option to request either the East or West Gallery, depending on which aligns best with their proposal. However, the final decision on gallery space allocation will be determined based on availability and discussions within the gallery committee. More information about the TWU East | West Gallery exhibition spaces can be found here.
Proposals should be solo or two-person exhibitions not previously shown in DFW. Following the review process, the TWU Gallery Committee will contact those whose proposals are of interest. Regrettably, we will be unable to respond to applicants whose proposals were not selected. Exhibiting artists may not be currently enrolled in a school program.
