Our mission

The Clay Underground is the TWU student ceramic organization.

We are an organization dedicated to embracing ceramic art and craft within our community. We host workshops, bring in visiting artists, have fundraisers, and so much more. No prior experience required, but ceramic experience is recommended. Open to all visual arts majors and/or to those with ceramic experience.

The Clay Underground hosts monthly meetings where students can work in ceramics, learn new ceramic techniques, participate in a supportive artistic community, explore sculpture and functional crafting, and use their art towards a philanthropic purpose.
