Cher Musico

Cher Musico (she/they) is a queer, autistic, Filipinx-American interdisciplinary artist whose work explores dimensions of home, related to identity, domestic labor and community. Her work intertwines the warmth of nostalgia and culture as both a personal homage and exploration of memory and identity, rendered with craftsmanship and heartfelt passion. Through a vibrant interplay of mediums and techniques, Musico’s art reflects a deep engagement with both her Filipinx-American heritage and her queer identity, offering a rich tapestry of personal and cultural exploration.

Deeply rooted in her background and personal experiences, she creates art that is both introspective and communal. In every stitch, her art embodies an exploration of belonging and self, creating spaces where identity and community can be both questioned and celebrated. Her work is a multifaceted reflection of the ways in which we navigate and embrace our complex, intersecting selves.
