Meet the Dean

Brandi Falley
Brandi Falley, Ph.D. serves as the Interim Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Texas Woman’s University. In this role, she oversees initiatives that shape the undergraduate experience, including the Core Curriculum, First-Year Interest Groups, and programs that support transfer students. Her focus is on creating pathways that ensure all students feel welcomed, challenged, and prepared to succeed.

As a professor of statistics and former Division Head for Mathematics, Dr. Falley brings years of experience in teaching, curriculum design, and academic leadership. Her research in statistics education explores how students learn to reason with data, and she remains committed to integrating evidence-based practices that strengthen both teaching and learning.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Falley has been actively involved in initiatives that strengthen undergraduate experiences, including curriculum development, mentoring, and community-building programs. She is also engaged in institutional leadership, exploring ways to reimagine traditions and create inclusive spaces that support students throughout their academic journey.

Throughout her career, Dr. Falley has been guided by a simple principle: student success is a shared responsibility. By fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, and students, she strives to build inclusive academic communities where every student has the resources and support needed to reach their goals.

Prior to this role, Dr. Falley served as an Associate Dean for Instruction in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Associate Director for the School of the Sciences, and the Division Head for Mathematics. 

Dr. Falley holds a BA in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University and a MS and PhD in Statistics from Baylor University.
