Milestone Awards by Type
At TWU, we honor the dedication and contributions of benefits-eligible faculty and staff through our Service Milestone Recognition Program. Eligible employees are recognized at an annual ceremony, where they receive a commemorative pin or a crystal bowl.
Each pin is a replica of the university seal and features precious metals and/or jewel insets at the center of the star. Milestone years are associated with specific metal and jewel combinations, as outlined in the chart below.

Milestone Award Recipients for 2026
Employees who wish to request a review of a potential discrepancy or their eligibility should complete the 2026 TWU Milestone Award Review Request.
