TWU providing laptops for short-term and long-term use

Oct. 2, 2020 — DENTON — Students who need access to laptops to complete assignments can now borrow them for short-term and long-term use through a new campus program.

Interested students who are seeking short-term options can checkout a laptop at one of the self-serve kiosks located in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall and in the Blagg-Huey Library. Short-term checkouts are limited to four hours, and devices must be returned 15 minutes prior to the close of the building.

The laptops are for use in the Blagg-Huey Library and the Student Union in Hubbard Hall ONLY. Students will not be able to log in elsewhere. Students only need their TWU ID and password to access the kiosks. Exact terms and details can be found online

Students who need to check-out a laptop for long-term use should complete the form to request one for the semester. Students must be currently registered and will have to come to campus to pick up and drop off the device.

Up to 60 devices will be available for short-term usage, and 20 devices will be available for long-term usage.
