Pioneer Kitchen to offer pies and pastries for the holidays
November 10, 2020 — Denton — Through their Pioneer Pastries program, Pioneer Kitchen will happily bake made-from-scratch pies, cobblers, cakes and more for TWU students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members this holiday season.
Thanksgiving orders can be placed prior to November 22 for a 48-72 hour turn around for pickup. The last pickup date will be November 24 at 2 p.m. For orders of $50 or more, Pioneer Kitchen will deliver within a five-mile radius of the TWU campus.
Amanda Northcutt, head baker and pastry chef, graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Baking and Patisserie is no stranger to whipping up delectable pies and pastries. Dentonites may remember her creations from West Oak Coffee Bar where she worked for several years.
Northcutt said she is happy to be able to bring her creative flair to Pioneer Pastries and is looking forward to sharing her love of baking and sweet treats with the TWU community this holiday season.
Her personal favorite, sweet potato pie, is on the menu as well as a wide variety of pies for $15-$22, sweet confections like fudge for $10 per bag, cookies for $15 per dozen as well as cakes and cupcakes.
To place orders, email the completed Pastry Order Form to Pioneer Pastries or use the online form. A member of the Pioneer Kitchen team will call to confirm orders and payment information. Dining Dollars and credit cards will be accepted.
