New retail dining options available in Student Union at Hubbard Hall

Jan. 10, 2020 — DENTON — As the Student Union at Hubbard Hall renovations near completion, Pioneer Kitchen has cooked up new options for the TWU community. Retail dining in the building includes an expanded, full-service Chick-fil-A and Qdoba Mexican Eats as well as other concepts.

Bunsen Tea Lab, (2nd Floor), Opens Monday, Jan. 13
Hours Jan.13-Feb. 2, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day
Hours Feb. 3-May 8, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day

Enjoy an assortment of refreshing, flavored fruit and milk teas at the new Bunsen Tea Lab. Choose from a flavored juice tea, milk tea, signature, smoothie or teapresso base and add various toppings. Bunsen Tea Lab will also offer bubble waffles in a variety of flavors that can be topped with anything on-hand, including ice cream!

Chick-fil-A, (1st Floor), Opens Monday, Feb. 3
Hours Feb. 3-May 8, Mon-Thur 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fri-Sat 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sun closed

The Chick-fil-A inside the Student Union at Hubbard Hall will offer a full-service menu with all of the favorites you already love, including breakfast items, milkshakes, deluxe sandwiches and spicy chicken sandwiches. Catering will also be available!

Hours Jan. 13-Feb. 2, Mon-Thur 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Fri 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sat-Sun 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Options at Community Choice will change each semester based on your votes! To kick off the spring semester, check out Pho U, a build your own ramen bowl concept! Community Choice will also feature Pioneer Grill where you can find standard favorites, including hamburgers, chicken tenders, curly fries and more!

Qdoba offers flavorful Mexican food right here on campus! Choose from Knockout Tacos, Taco Salad, Burritos, Nachos, Burrito Bowls, and more. Even better, Qdoba also offers vegan and vegetarian friendly options.

Additionally, Tiny House BBQ will open late-spring and will be located adjacent to MCL. All retail dining locations will be closed Jan. 20 in observation of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
