“Due to the construction of the Bezos Academy, parking at Frame and Woodland Streets is unavailable,” said David Sweeten, assistant vice president for auxiliary services. “However, the new light blue permit for the North Loop Lot is being offered at a reduced rate, and we will provide shuttle access to the heart of the Denton campus.”

Sweeten also confirmed that Night Owls, the popular service that helps students to and from on-campus destinations, will resume Monday, September 9 and will run Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. until midnight and Friday from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Until construction progresses, access to the North Loop Lot is only available via Ruddell Street. For anyone parking in the North Loop Lot, the shuttle bus will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Drop-off and pickup will be under the walkway near ACT between ACT and Brackenridge.

TWU has added additional ADA spaces in the Pioneer Circle Drive near the Music Building and in the parking garage. ADA placard holders should provide the Parking Office with a copy of their ADA placard or registration and driver’s license before purchasing a permit. Vehicles with a with a valid TWU permit and verified ADA parking placard or plate may park in any ADA space on campus.

All permits may be purchased at the TWU Parking website. After the purchase is completed, patrons may print a temporary permit from the portal and display it on the passenger-side dashboard with the barcode facing up until the annual permit is received in the mail.

Purchasing a permit allows permit holders to park on campus, but does not guarantee a space. For more information, please see the Parking website or email TWU Parking
