“Due to the construction of the Bezos Academy, parking at Frame and Woodland Streets is unavailable,” said David Sweeten, assistant vice president for auxiliary services. “However, the new light blue permit for the North Loop Lot is being offered at a reduced rate, and we will provide shuttle access to the heart of the Denton campus.”

Sweeten also confirmed that Night Owls, the popular service that helps students to and from on-campus destinations, would resume Tuesday, Sept. 3 and will run Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. until midnight and Friday from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Until construction progresses, access to the North Loop Lot is only available via Ruddell Street. For anyone parking in the North Loop Lot, the shuttle bus will be available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Drop-off and pickup will be under the walkway near ACT between ACT and Brackenridge.

TWU community members requiring an ADA parking space should provide a copy of a completed TxDMV Form VTR-214 or a copy of the tax receipt for the plate for verification to the Parking Office. The form can be dropped off at the Parking Office, located in the Oakland Complex, or scanned and emailed to parking@twu.edu.

All permits may be purchased online at twu.edu/parking. After the purchase is completed, patrons may print a temporary permit from the portal and display it on the passenger-side dashboard with the barcode facing up until the annual permit is received in the mail.

Purchasing a permit allows permit holders to park on campus, but does not guarantee a space. For more information, please see the Parking website or email them at parking@twu.edu
