Volunteer Advising
What is Volunteer Advising?
Are you wanting to make a difference in the community but don’t know where to start? Want to find a like-minded group of students to volunteer with? Do you need service hours but aren’t sure how to start volunteering? Check out our Volunteer Advising program and receive a walkthrough of potential volunteering avenues!
How Does it Work?
- Check out the Civic Engagement Pioneer Engage Portal and sign up online!
- Fill out the volunteer advising form with as much info as you can. This will help us get a good idea of what kind of volunteer opportunities fit with what you’re looking for.
- A representative of TWU Volunteer Services will be in contact with you to schedule a one-on-one meeting based on your availability.
- After you meet, the Volunteer Services Representative will send a recap of the meeting for you to reference and will check back in 3 weeks to see if their advising was helpful.
If you have any questions about Volunteer Advising, please contact the Center for Student Involvement or 940-898-3626.
