Hanover Grant Academy
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) announces the Academic Year 2019-2020 Hanover Grant Academy. The Academy seeks to discover and encourage individuals of outstanding talent with a keen interest in research. For this academic year cohort, twelve emerging research professionals will be selected to receive individualized mentoring on the grant writing process. Grant funding is an increasingly competitive process in which guided expertise is critical to crafting the most fundable research proposals. The ability to describe one's research in a way that can be understood and valued is critical in the competitive selection process.
Hanover Research and TWU’s Center for Research, Design, and Analysis (CRDA) will facilitate a comprehensive and detailed 36-week mentorship program for the members of the cohort. This program will run from September 30, 2019 - June 5, 2020, and is intended to strengthen emerging researchers’ ability to produce highly credible and fundable research proposals that will not only expand and contribute to knowledge and literature in their respective fields but also bring research prestige and funding to TWU.
See the attached Hanover Grants Academy Application Form and Announcement and Guidelines for more information. Applications were due to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs by Monday, September 9, 2019.
