QEP Faculty Fellowships
Are you a faculty member interested in fostering thought leadership in their graduate-level courses?
The QEP Faculty Fellowship Program offers incentives and support for redesigning one graduate-level course to incorporate public-facing communications assignments that foster thought leadership in the classroom and help students develop marketable skills.
What is the QEP Faculty Fellowship Program?
The QEP Faculty Fellowship program is a semester-long fellowship that incentivizes and supports faculty in fostering public-facing work in their graduate-level courses. Fellows receive stipends and training to create and implement at least one assignment in one of their graduate-level courses that addresses student learning outcomes of the QEP and results in a student-created, public-facing artifact.
The QEP team supports fellows in imagining, creating, and implementing student artifacts. The QEP team –along with a team of raters, including former fellows– also rates student artifacts and submissions after the course has ended using the QEP rubric to determine how effectively faculty and students are incorporating public-facing communications into their coursework. Fellows are encouraged but not required to incorporate the QEP rubric into their own feedback and evaluation process.
Who are the QEP Faculty Fellowships for?
The QEP faculty fellowship is for any faculty member teaching courses that enroll graduate students and are interested in fostering thought leadership in one of their classes. Both full time and part time faculty are encouraged to apply.
When does the Faculty Fellowship take place?
The QEP Faculty Fellowship takes place each semester of the QEP, both Fall and Spring. Applications are accepted and training sessions take place the preceding semester.
The Fall 2025 Faculty Fellowship Program is currently underway and is no longer accepting applications.
