DanceMakers returns Nov. 13-15

The 2025 Fall edition of DanceMakers will feature more than 40 dancers in 10 works with inspiration ranging from northern Mexico and Ballet Folklórico to the ten plagues of Egypt.

Center awards $50K in grants to women-owned startups

The Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE), a program of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University, has selected 10 entrepreneurs out of 303 applications to receive $5,000 awards through its StartHER Grant Program, part of an ongoing effort to boost women-owned businesses across Texas.

Fiction class goes deep into baseball literature

TWU’s English 2153 class, Intro to Fiction, is reading literature connected with baseball, and students created a bulletin board and bookshelves at Denton’s South Branch Library with baseball-themed reading recommendations.

Musical Theatre opens season with Zombie Prom
