TWU Houston Center to host open house Feb. 8, 2020

Jan. 21, 2020 — HOUSTON — Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for prospective transfer and graduate students from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 8, at the university’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin Street.

TWU’s open house is geared toward transfer and graduate students interested in face-to-face and 100% online programs at TWU’s Houston campus.

Prospective students and their guests will have the opportunity to meet faculty and current students, and attend sessions on admissions, financial aid, student services and more. Check-in and registration begin at 8:30 a.m. in the foyer, with information sessions and campus tours scheduled until 12:30 p.m.

Prospective students will be entered to win a $1,000 scholarship, which will be applied to fall and spring 2020-2021 tuition and fees at TWU. One transfer student and one graduate student each will win a $1,000 award. Students must be eligible for admission to TWU to claim the award.

Parking is available in the adjacent TWU Methodist Garage, with entrance on Main Street. Participants are responsible for their own parking fees.
