Rangers and Astros to host TWU college nights

Mar. 2, 2018 - DENTON - Join Texas Woman’s University for nights at the ballpark in both Arlington and Houston. TWU Night with the Astros will take place Tuesday, April 3 at 7:10 p.m. at Minute Maid Park in Houston. TWU Night with the Rangers is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24 at 7:05 p.m. at Globe Life Park in Arlington. All students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public are welcome to purchase tickets for these events.

TWU Night with the Astros – April 3

The first 100 fans who purchase tickets will receive a limited edition TWU-themed Astros hat. To be eligible for the hat, you must buy your ticket at https://groupmatics.events/event/Twunight. Show your Astros game ticket to the Houston TWU Student Life office to receive your hat. The group tickets deadline is March 27.

TWU Night with the Rangers – April 24

The first 1,000 fans who purchase tickets at www.texasrangers.com/twu will receive vouchers for limited edition TWU-themed Rangers hats.  Tickets must be purchased through the link above to be eligible for the baseball caps, which will be available for pick-up on game day at the Rangers’ third base ticket office. Group ticket sales for 20 or more people are available using the “group ticket sales” instructions on the ticketing website.

Pre-game events beginning at 6:55 p.m. include the TWU Student Chorale, led by TWU faculty member Joni Jensen, singing the National Anthem and the first pitch being thrown by TWU gymnastics coach Lisa Bowerman.

TWU will provide transportation from Denton to Arlington for current TWU students, faculty and staff. University ID will be required. Preregistration for bus transport is required by midnight, Monday, April 9. The bus will depart the Denton campus at 5 p.m.
