Profile 

Zijia (Lydia) Zhao is a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas and an adjunct instructor at Texas Woman’s University. As a music theorist, educator, and pianist, her workbridges cross-cultural musical analysis with a focus on music theory and aural skills pedagogy. 

Zhao is an experienced instructor who has taught music theory and aural skills in diverse educational settings across the United States and China, including appointments at the University of North Texas and the New England Conservatory of Music.
