Sherri Ross, MA,MT-BC, is a board-certified music therapist who received a bachelor and master’s degree in Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University.  She is currently the music therapist for Denton Independent School District in Denton, Texas, and supervises a music therapy internship program approved by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA).  She is also certified as a Texas music educator. Mrs. Ross has published in Music Therapy Perspectives, presented multiple times at both regional and national AMTA conferences, authored three bilingual music-based story books, and has received multiple awards from both the regional AMTA organization and the ARC of Denton including their President’s Award for Community Advocacy. Mrs. Ross is an adjunct professor at TWU, teaching Clinical Keyboard and Clinical Guitar in the music therapy program, as well as supervising practicum students in Denton ISD.
