Assistant Professor of Practice - Mariachi

Jason Molina is a seasoned musician and educator with over 15 years of experience in performing and teaching Mariachi music. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Liberal Arts from Texas Woman's University and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree. Throughout his career, Jason has been involved in establishing and expanding middle school, high school, and collegiate mariachi programs across North Texas. As a founding member and the current director of Mariachi Quetzal, which has been performing professionally since 2008, he continues to contribute to the growth and enrichment of the Mariachi tradition. Jason is committed to advancing the Mariachi program at TWU and is dedicated to mentoring young musicians as they embark on their musical journeys.
