Crysty Cruz

Crysty Cruz is a master’s student studying Music Education. She received her bachelor’s degree in Music Studies with a concentration in Choral Music Education at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. During her undergraduate degree, Crysty was a member of the music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon, the treasurer of the Texas State chapter of ACDA, Soprano 1 section leader of the Texas State Chorale, and the Vice President of the Korean Culture Club. Crysty has also appeared as a guest student conductor at TCDA and was chosen to compete in the Undergraduate SWACDA conducting competition. This year, Crysty is the director of University Chorus and works as a graduate assistant at TWU for Dr. Baker’s music education classes and Dr. Jensen's choirs.
