Profile

Amy Jezek is a Denton native with degrees from UNT and TWU. After graduating from TWU with her Master of Arts degree in Music Education she spent many years as a music teacher in public schools directing middle school and high school choirs, teaching music appreciation, musical theatre, AP music theory, and elementary music. She loved her time in the classroom teaching students in grades K-12 and firmly believes music education can change lives. 

While in grad school at TWU, Amy was a student employee for the music department and was recognized as a student employee of the year for 2013-2014. After many hours spent in the music building as a student and student employee, “T-Dub” is a special place for Amy. She is excited to return as an alumnus and support the School of Arts and Design as Coordinator of Budgets and Finance.

When not at school, Amy loves to spend time with her husband drinking coffee and trying to keep up with their two kids. If the Jezeks get a free weekend, they pull their camper to the lake and enjoy a campfire.
