Denton Study Areas
Study Areas at Denton Library
- Common Study Areas: Study areas are found near the entrance levels of the library and where group work is encouraged. Please use these areas to convene, collaborate and talk on your cell phone.
- Quiet Study Areas: Quiet study areas can be found throughout the library on all levels with book and journal stacks, are naturally quiet environments. In these quiet areas conversation is allowed, but please silence your cell phones.
- Silent Study Area: The entire Garden level is a Silent Study Area. No conversation or noise is permitted in this area. Study Rooms G04-G08 are single occupancy silent study rooms and follow the same rules.
- Graduate Study Space: The Graduate Study Space is located on the third floor of the Blagg-Huey Library in Denton. It is for the exclusive use of graduate students. All graduate students are automatically entered into the ID card system which gives them access to the room. Graduate students can tap their ID to get access to the room. If you have any questions or problems, please let us know by contacting the Information Desk on the first floor.
- Rooms may be reserved using our Denton Room Booking site or at the Information Desk located on the first floor of the Blagg-Huey Library in Denton.
- Room may be reserved up to two weeks in advance. Reservations are accepted on a first come/first served basis.
- Cables for Flat Screen TV and instructions are available at the Information Desk.
- If you are over 15 minutes late for your reservation, your reservation is automatically cancelled.
