Michelle Kelly Reeves, M.S.
Michelle Kelly Reeves received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences at Texas Tech University and her M.S. in Communication Studies at the University of North Texas. Her past fitness and recreation work experience includes the YMCA, Frito Lay, GE World Headquarters and the City of Denton. She wore several different hats for over 14 years while at TWU Fitness and Recreation, including program coordinator, instructor and assistant director. In addition, she has been an adjunct instructor for TWU for over 7 years, including her current teaching of a leadership class in the Department of Kinesiology.
Currently, Michelle is working to build policies and programming for the newly developed TWU Office of Civility and Community Standards and pursuing her doctorate in Higher Education. Goals include ensuring an equitable Student Code of Conduct Process, striving for best practices in the areas of Title IX and Tile VI and creating student programming through tradition building and departmental collaborations that promotes high ethical and professional standards.
An Army brat, she loves traveling. Michelle is not afraid of a challenge, including raising a daughter in high school and a son in college, running and whipping law enforcement officers into shape.
