Important Information Regarding F-1 Visa Revocations
The TWU International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office is staying up to date on executive orders, travel bans, visa revocations, and other situations affecting F-1 students across the United States. Our priority is to keep you informed as verified information becomes available. Please consider or reconsider the following:
- Travel authorizations: F-1 international students are advised to reconsider non-essential travel at this time.
- Political protests: Although you are within your rights to do so, F-1 international students are strongly encouraged to consider the possible negative implications of participating in public protests or documenting political views on social media.
- Visa revocations: If your F-1 visa and SEVIS record is terminated you will be notified by the TWU ISSS office immediately and you should immediately reach out to an immigration attorney. Helpful links: https://ailalawyer.com/ and https://www.immigrationadvocates.org/legaldirectory/
