FAQ

Which sessions should I attend?

You can choose your own adventure by finding sessions that interest you and fit your schedule.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Many of our virtual sessions will be recorded and available on our website within a week after the event.

Can I attend the sessions if I’m not a current TWU student or alumni?

Yes! All sessions are open to anyone interested in attending.

Is this the only opportunity to talk with someone in my program of interest?

Many of our graduate programs offer their own information sessions or open house events. We encourage you to take a look at our program events page.

Can I make an appointment to talk with a graduate admissions counselor?

Yes! You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment and our graduate admissions team can talk with you about the application process, general program information and other questions about graduate school.

I registered for a session but didn’t get a confirmation.

Check your spam folders as often emails may be blocked by email clients. The email would come from TWU Graduate Admissions.

Will parking be provided for in person sessions?

Our campus has 2 options for visitor parking:

  1. ParkMobile Visitor Lots - The university has visitor parking spots that can be purchased on an hourly basis using the ParkMobile app. Our main visitor lot is on Administration Drive, with an additional option on the top level of the parking garage on Oakland Street.
  2. Guest Permit - You can contact TWU Parking Services ahead of the event date to reserve a one-day Silver Permit for $10. This pass will grant single-day access to Silver and Maroon lots on campus. Some of these are faculty and staff lots, so be aware that some lots may be full.

How do I access the virtual sessions?

After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email that has a personalized link to access the session. You won’t be able to access the session until 5 minutes before it will start. Didn’t get your email? We’ll send a reminder 24 hours before the event – also check your spam folder!
