Check out our list of sessions and choose any that fits your schedule! Most individual sessions will be offered virtually, but we have some events that will be held at the TWU Denton campus.

11 AM – 12 PM | Grad School 101 (Denton Campus)
Thinking about grad school, but not sure what it really means? This session is designed for anyone curious about what comes after a bachelor’s degree. Our graduate admissions counselors from TWU will break it down by exploring terminology, searching for programs that fit, and how the application process works.
12 PM – 1 PM | First Gen, Phase Two (Virtual Session)
You conquered the first climb; ready for the view from the top? Navigating graduate admissions as a first-gen student can feel like a solo mission, but it doesn't have to be. Connect with the TWU First Generation Office and Graduate Admissions to build a high-impact application that tells your story. We’ll cover funding, faculty mentorship, and the resources waiting for you at the next level. You made history once, let's do it again.
5 PM – 6 PM | Standing on Business: The Graduate Strategy (Virtual Session)
Ready to elevate your expertise and your paycheck? TWU Graduate Business programs are designed for professionals who are ready to lead. Join us for a deep dive into our Accounting, Healthcare, and Management tracks to see how we prepare you for the complexities of modern leadership. 6 PM – 7 PM | Passion to Practice: Mapping Your Career in the Helping Professions (Virtual Session)

12 PM – 1 PM | Beyond the Tassel: Alumni Panel (Virtual Session)
They’ve walked off the stage; now they’re leading the way. Join us for a candid conversation with TWU graduate alumni as they pull back the curtain on life after the degree. From navigating the job market to balancing a career with grad school, this panel offers the "unfiltered" version of the journey. 4 PM – 5 PM | The Inside Scoop: Life as a Graduate Student (Virtual Session)
Are you wondering what grad school is actually like? Move beyond the brochures and websites and join us for a candid, student-led conversation about the reality of advanced degree programs. This panel features current graduate students from various disciplines who are navigating the same path you’re considering. Whether you’re curious about the workload, the shift in social dynamics, or how to balance research with a personal life, this session is designed to give you the unvarnished truth.
6 PM – 7 PM | The "Impact Without the I.V." Approach (Virtual Session)
You can transform healthcare without ever stepping into an operating room. This session highlights graduate pathways for those who want to fix the system, not just the symptoms. Explore how an advanced degree in public health, social work, healthcare administration, or healthcare informatics can launch your career in healthcare leadership, policy, and advocacy. 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM | TWU Health Professions Fair (Denton Campus)
Talk with more than 50 representatives from TWU health science graduate programs and across the U.S. and beyond. Don’t miss this chance to talk directly with schools of medicine, nursing, physical therapy, dentistry, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physician assistant, speech pathology, medical laboratory science, radiology, public health, healthcare administration, and others.

1 PM – 2 PM | The Heart of the Hub: Dallas & Houston Campus Overview (Virtual Session)

Data science and artificial intelligence are transforming every field from research and healthcare to business, government, and education. Alongside these opportunities come growing concerns about data privacy, ethical AI, cybersecurity, and the responsible use of technology. This is an interactive event designed for those to see what opportunities we offer when pursuing a master’s degree in data science here at TWU.

7 AM – 8 AM | International Perspectives: The Graduate Roadmap (Virtual Session)
You have the ambition; we have the roadmap. This session is designed specifically for international scholars looking to pursue a Master’s or Doctorate at TWU. We’ll cover the essentials: Funding opportunities, English proficiency requirements, transcript evaluations, and application steps. Meet your admissions counselors, learn the terminology, and take the first step toward your career.

3 PM – 4 PM | Curtain Call: Unmasking the Graduate Process (Virtual Session)
Behind every great performance or exhibition is a strategic plan. This session is designed for the artist-scholar ready to dive into the deep end of creative research and practice. Explore TWU’s premier graduate pathways in Dance, Music, and Visual Arts, including our terminal Master of Fine Arts and specialized Ph.D. programs. Learn how a graduate education provides the space, mentorship, and resources to push the boundaries of your medium and lead the next generation of creative thinkers.

Which sessions should I attend?
You can choose your own adventure by finding sessions that interest you and fit your schedule.
Will the sessions be recorded?
Many of our virtual sessions will be recorded and available on our website within a week after the event.
Can I attend the sessions if I’m not a current TWU student or alumni?
Yes! All sessions are open to anyone interested in attending.
Is this the only opportunity to talk with someone in my program of interest?
Many of our graduate programs offer their own information sessions or open house events. We encourage you to take a look at our program events page.
Can I make an appointment to talk with a graduate admissions counselor?
Yes! You can schedule an in-person or virtual appointment and our graduate admissions team can talk with you about the application process, general program information and other questions about graduate school.
I registered for a session but didn’t get a confirmation.
Check your spam folders as often emails may be blocked by email clients. The email would come from TWU Graduate Admissions.
Will parking be provided for in person sessions?
Our campus has 2 options for visitor parking:
- ParkMobile Visitor Lots - The university has visitor parking spots that can be purchased on an hourly basis using the ParkMobile app. Our main visitor lot is on Administration Drive, with an additional option on the top level of the parking garage on Oakland Street.
- Guest Permit - You can contact TWU Parking Services ahead of the event date to reserve a one-day Silver Permit for $10. This pass will grant single-day access to Silver and Maroon lots on campus. Some of these are faculty and staff lots, so be aware that some lots may be full.
How do I access the virtual sessions?
After you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email that has a personalized link to access the session. You won’t be able to access the session until 5 minutes before it will start. Didn’t get your email? We’ll send a reminder 24 hours before the event – also check your spam folder!
