Biography

Laura Trujillo-Jenks, Ph. D., has been in higher education for 15 years teaching leadership courses in the principalship. Focus on educational law, special populations, teacher and principal evaluation systems, organizational health, and student discipline are specialized areas Dr. Trujillo-Jenks has researched and written. Specifically, the use of case studies when teaching these different areas has been the focus of Dr. Trujillo-Jenks' teaching, research, and service, and she has had books and journal articles that center on case studies in many of the course topics that she teaches. These case studies have helped students, faculty, and practitioners work through real-life scenarios in a no-consequence and safe environment.
