Biography

Dr. Chrostowski is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Texas Woman’s University where she teaches in the graduate nursing program. Dr. Chrostowski holds a College of Nursing appointment as the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Program Coordinator. She is an Adult Health nurse practitioner and has been working exclusively in rheumatology since 2005. For her doctoral program, she conducted a clinical research study on assessment instruments on fibromyalgia disease activity. Her research interests focus on management of rheumatology conditions and gero-pharmacology. She has served on national committees with the Association of Rheumatology Professionals and a national rheumatology board with the American Board of Internal Medicine. In addition to national, state, and local presentations on rheumatology and geriatric nursing practice, Dr. Chrostowski has published articles related to rheumatology and nursing practice issues.
