Biography

Kristine Morris has over 25 years of experience in adult health nursing, including care of spinal cord injured veterans and critically ill adults. She has been teaching undergraduate nursing students at TWU since 2007. Her research interests include student success in undergraduate nursing education and readiness for the nursing licensure exam, NCLEX-RN. She is passionate about nursing education. Her teaching, service, and scholarship revolve around identifying barriers and bridges to nursing student success, particularly among students from racial/ethnic minority groups in the U.S. Her goal is to help craft a knowledgeable, skilled, and resilient professional nursing workforce that is representative of our nation's population.
